TCMP has a projected need for a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide patient care services at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA.

This position provides for the delivery of care to healthy women and newborns for obstetrical services and collaboration with an attending physician or resident on non-routine patients.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of a Certified Nurse Midwife Education Program accredited by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

- Certified as a CNM by the American College of Nurse-Midwives

- Have a current unrestricted license to practice as a professional registered nurse in any one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
(The licensing exam taken by registered nurses must be the National Council of Licensing Examinations - Registered Nurse)

- Possess a minimum of 2 years (full-time) experience working as a credentialed Nurse Midwife within the past 4 years.
